Karen joined the Chinookwinds Show Chorus in 2012 and sings Lead.  Karen is currently the Website Administrator, a Social Events Committee member, has helped as the Lead Section Leader and has in the past been the Communications Chair.  Karen loves to sing although she came to CWSC with no formal singing experience.  Karen was employed as a Musician in the Canadian Navy and has played several musical instruments and played in a number of different bands.  Currently over Covid Karen has continued her study of the piano with Tim Gant a Grammy Nominated musician, is singing with the St. Giles Church where sight reading skills are tested weekly.  She loves to learn and is often distracted by the many hobbies and the quest to learn new things.
